Internal Medicine
This three-year program is based at Mountainside Hospital.
- Full accreditation from the Residency Review Committee for Internal Medicine (RRC-IM) of the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME).
- 100% ABIM pass rate on first attempt for the past four years with average scores in the top quartile.
- Primary goal is to train residents to become superb primary care internists. However, since 1994, approximately 25 percent of our graduates have entered subspecialty fellowship training programs including Cardiology, Gastroenterology, Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine, and Infectious Diseases at various premier programs such as the National Institutes of Health, the Mayo Clinic, Baylor University, University of Minnesota, and UMDNJ-NJMS.

Offerings |
- Learn to provide the best evidence based patient care considering gender, age and occupation as well as ethnic, economic, home and environmental factors.
- Develop competence in clinical diagnosis and cost effective treatment while promoting optimal fitness and disease prevention.
- Acquire a broad background and experience in other medical disciplines including office gynecology, orthopedics, ophthalmology, ENT, rehabilitation medicine and urology.
- Full-time faculty entirely devoted to the education of residents and students.
